Our 2023 Summer Festival Art Exhibition invites you to encounter Cornwall through the vision of two artists, whose art captures the immediacy of nature.
Lucy Davies draws inspiration from the dramatic sea, rugged cliffs, and stunning, golden beaches of the north Cornish coast, evoking wide luminous skies, and the plants and flowers that flourish along the shore.
Victoria Young Jamieson abstracts the hues and currents of land and sea in vibrant multi-layered artworks, where colours and textures drift through each other, shifting across weather-beaten terrain, or spinning to create self-contained worlds.
